| As
part of the project a summative assessment for
the pupil's overall ICT capability at the
end of KS 2 is completed by the pupil and their
teacher. This is not the level for only this
piece of work, but reflects their achievement
based upon all of their ICT work. This overall
level is added to the notes section of the final
slide of their work, in the case of PowerPoint
and Open Office and as an additional slide in
Textease Presenter. Its purpose is to inform the
secondary school of their overall ICT level, but
equally important to help the pupil know the
next steps in their learning with ICT.
