| We are constantly reviewing the latest developments
in software for supporting the teaching of ICT in the schools and
embedding ICT across the curriculum. Below is a list of our current
recommended core software and is by no means an exhaustive list. The aim
is to provide schools with information and support on a core suite
of software that will enable pupils to develop the full range of ICT
capability and apply this in ways that support the whole curriculum.
Software has been listed under ICT themes and year groups as appropriate
although it is anticipated that once pupils have been introduced to
particular software, they will continue to use it throughout their
primary years, allowing them to make their own choices about audience
and purpose. Click on the links
to download our instruction booklets for recommended software.
All the software listed below is
available through the ELC budget, with the exception of the EasysenseQ
and Microsoft products.
