Following a second successful year with Wiltshire Schools Creativity Awards, we are once again offering schools the chance to take part in this the third WiSCAs.  Last year, the awards culminated in with an Oscar’s style event for the winning entries which was held in December at Urchfont Manor. It was a fantastic opportunity for the pupils to celebrate their achievements and one I’m sure they will remember for many years to come. Photos of the event together with the winning entries can be found at he links below

Project Overview

Schools will be invited to submit entries into any of the three categories and age groups:

Digital stories                5 - 7             7- 9             9-11              11-13              13-16

Animation                     5 - 7             7- 9             9-11              11-13              13-16

Mini movies                   5 - 7              7- 9             9-11              11-13              13-16

Audio Broadcasts           5 - 7              7- 9             9-11              11-13              13-16

We are looking for short stories, animations or films up to two minutes in length which have been produced by students. These should be creatively and technically engaging and have links to the school curriculum framework.  You don't need to be an expert to enter - you just need a keen interest in telling visual stories and a creative approach to using ICT.

There will be prizes for the winning entry in each category which we hope to hold another award ceremony in December. This will be another exciting opportunity for schools to develop their creative use of ICT for digital stories, animation audio and film and to share their work locally and nationally
