ICT Subject Leaders' Resources

The ICT Subject Leader is responsible for keeping a large amount of documentation. By keeping it in one location - the ICT Coordinator’s file - all necessary information will be easily available and accessible.

Scheme of Work

Our scheme of work for ICT was revised in 2006. Every Wiltshire school has received one hard copy. It is available in MS Word format at the link above. Click on the link, then select Save As from the File menu. The size of each file is indicated.

ICT and Literacy

The aim of this section is to show how ICT may add value to aspects of literacy learning across the primary phase. Of course, the technologies and approaches listed will need to be interpreted and amended to suit the needs of learners. They may also be adapted for use beyond the age ranges specified here.

WiSCAs- Wiltshire Schools Creativity Awards

This is an exciting new project we are running across the Authority this year.  We are offering schools the chance to take part in the Wiltshire Schools Creativity Awards.  (WiSCAs - Wiltshire’s equivalent to the Oscars!).  Using a digital still, web or video camera is an exciting way of visualising ideas and stories. This is a fantastic opportunity for young people to express their creativity using a range of digital media.

KS2/3 Transfer Project

Maintaining progress, ensuring coverage of the ICT programme of study and being able to make an informed and accurate judgement about each pupil's progress are areas that schools wrestle with continually. To support these issues an ICT transfer project has been designed to support schools in this area.
